As the demand for smarter energy management and flexible electricity tariffs continues to grow, Click Scolmore has expanded its Elucian consumer unit range with the introduction of a new collection of Dual Tariff Boards.
Available in four sizes, the new boards provide contractors with a practical and streamlined solution for installations requiring separate peak and off-peak electricity supplies. The new Elucian Dual Tariff Board range comprises four distribution boards:
- 18-way board with 7 & 7 free ways
- 22-way board with 9 & 9 free ways
- 36-way dual-row board with 16 & 16 free ways
- 44-way dual-row board with 20 & 20 free ways
Each model is supplied complete with two 100A 2-pole main isolator switches, allowing two independent tariff supplies to be managed within a single enclosure.
Designed to meet the needs of modern electrical installations, the dual tariff boards are ideal for properties operating split or multi-rate electricity metering arrangements, including Economy 7 and Economy 10 tariffs. Typical applications include storage heaters, time-of-use energy tariffs, heat pumps and EV charging installations, where dedicated circuits can benefit from lower-cost off-peak energy supplies.
By combining two tariff supplies within one enclosure, the new boards eliminate the need to install, wire and interconnect two separate consumer units side-by-side. This helps to simplify installation, save valuable wall space and reduce time spent on site.
Manufactured from robust steel and designed for surface mounting, with recessed installation available for the 18-way and 22-way boards, the boards offer a durable solution for a wide variety of installation environments. They are rated to IP20, supplied in a white RAL 9003 finish and backed by a 10-year warranty, providing installers and end users with confidence in long-term performance and reliability.
